For those that have never been to Doolin, let me tell you a little about the place and it's attractions as well as your accommodation.


To start with the accommodation, Twin Peaks Bed and Breakfast is located in the back of Fisherstreet, which is the part of Doolin closest to the sea. Fisherstreet is also the part of Doolin where you find the famous Gus O'Connor's Pub, known around the world for it's traditional Irish music sessions.
You'll also find a groceries shop, café and most of the craft shops in this part of Doolin, while there are two more pubs and most of the restaurants in Roadford, at the other end of Doolin.

The village of Doolin attracts a variety of people for different reasons. You can just relax and hang about, enjoy the music and a few drinks and meet people, or you can get active. There are many activities you can engage in. Rent a bike or explore the area on foot. Doolin Pitch and Putt can be played all year round. In the summer


you can go Pony Trekking adjoining to your Bed and Breakfast accommodations. And for those that take their fishing rod wherever they go, there are plenty of popular as well as quiet shore angling spots, heading north from Doolin Point along the coast.

Doolin Cave and see one of the largest Stalactites in the world.

And if you want to see more of County Clare and the rest of Ireland, Doolin is a good starting point for day trips. The Burren National Park


is right at your doorstep, the Cliffs of Moher are less than 5 miles south of Doolin and a game of golf in Lahinch is less than 7 miles away. When you can't take any more of all that fresh air in the country side, just an hours drive from Doolin you can enjoy a day of hustle and bustle in the City of Galway.
